一、细心备课
教师应按规定制定短期的教学工作计划。在认真学习教育教学理论和专业理论的基础上,教师备课要做到“八备”,即:备课程标准,备教材,备学生,备教案,备教法、学法,备教学器材,备情感、态度、价值观和备习题。教师应该认真学习所教学科的课程标准,理解课程标准的指导思想,用创新的思维和理念指导教学实践。同时,教师应明确重点章节和重点课文,做到全盘统筹,安排和实现好授课计划。
教案要按课时来编写,教师上课必须有教案,并且要独立完成,写教案要详细,而且教案必须要包括下列的内容:教学目标、教学分析、教学方法、板书设计、课外作业布置和教学后记等。教师要全面的理解学生,理解所教年(班)级学生的生理和心理状况,理解学生的学习目的、学习态度、知识基础,智力状况和接受能力等,在这些基础上,研究分层次教学。
就英语来说,涉及到了词汇、句型、短语和语法等知识点的整理、归纳和总结。在此当中,所有的知识点大部分都归纳在语法的范围之内。老师需要在备课的过程中以认真的、集中的状态来备好这一节课。如果光是依照课本笼统的提到的句型或词汇,表面的来讲课是远远不够的。这样的课堂会显得很单调,学生会学不到系统性的知识,从而对课堂产生厌倦感,甚至讨厌学习英语。那么,老师应该怎么做呢?
这时,老师就需要查阅相关的英语资料,像课内辅导书、语法书和课外的英语书籍等。但前提就是,查阅的书籍要符合老师目前的教学阶段和水平,绝对不能以马代驴,滥竽充数。查阅相关资料的目的是为了丰富备课内容,为了让学生吸收更好的更全面的知识,为了更好的巩固教学效果,为教学负责。
二、精心教学
备课工作准备好之后,接着是课堂教学,教师要依照备课的方案及内容来上课。教学是教师教与学生学的双方互动性过程。抽象的说,也是一种知识的输出与输入的过程。学生是课堂活动的主角,是思维的主体,他们的活动应占课堂的绝大多数时间。
教师在课堂教学当中,需要把教学与练习相结合起来。练习是把知识转化为技能,并进一步深化知识的过程,是提高课堂教学效率的一个重要组成部分。练的目的就是为了给学生一个实践和检验的平台,有针对性的练习,能让学生更好地掌握这一堂课所教所学的知识。学生应该对此重视,配合老师,多做练习,从而提高综合运用知识的能力。理论与实践相结合,实践检验真理;那么,在教的阶段里,用练习来检验教学的效果和收获是再合适不过的。
在课堂教学的过程中,学生会遇到一些各种各样的学习问题,对于学习初一英语的学生来说,他们遇到的问题相对比较简单。一般在词汇、句型和语法上。他们需要掌握的词汇量少、句型和语法也都简单,他们需要做的是打好基础,对英语有初步的入门认识。同词汇一样,语法是学习英语不可缺少的一部分。很多的学生会问:老师,这个句型为什么会这么放?为什么以元音开头的单词要用不定冠词an来修饰?什么叫特殊疑问句?等等的问题。有一些问题是可以解释的,而有些则解释不了,这些就涉及到英语中固定的搭配和语言的规范及语法。英语的语法教学是培养学生获得英语语言内部结构的一般规则的教学活动,是帮助学生准确地表达思想,更好的进行听、说、读、写等语言实践活动的基础。由此可见语法非常的重要。
三、用心批改作业
自然地,课后工作主要就包括作业的批改及对遗漏的课堂知识的查阅补充,最后是在学生课程结束之时的相关考试工作。在临近考试之时,教师要按照自己的教学内容设计试卷的题型和题目数量,把它们输入电脑,做详细的排版并打印出来。排版是一项认真性的工作,排版不仅要校对试题是否有打字错误的地方,还要力求试题版面美观整齐。这要求教师要具备较好的文字处理能力。
那在批改作业的时候更要认真,绝对不能以一个“阅”字就带过,一定要根据学生作业完成的正确率来评分,根据教师个人的喜好可以用诸如:excellent、good、so-so等来点评。必要时,评上几句肯定和鼓励学生的话语。作业是学生自学、自我检查的重要依据。老师在批改的过程中,发现错误要及时的纠正并做好登记。必要的时候可以把它们拿出来在课堂上进行讲解,引导学生参与讨论,启发他们积极的思考,以便检验教学的效果并及时巩固,避免学生第二次犯同样的错误,以进一步促进教学的效益,即做到了有效教学。
四、耐心辅导
辅导学习是教师完成教学任务的一项重要工作。课堂的时间有限,不可能解决学生的所有问题,特别是对于人数多、水平参差不齐、成绩两极分化的班级,课下对学生进行辅导就显得更为重要。它对于提高教学效率,巩固学习成果,培养学生科学的学习方法和自学能力,促进英语水平的提高有着重要的意义。

英语学困生是指在学习方面发展速度慢、学习效果差的学生。他们存在或多或少的共性:对英语课提不起兴趣,英语学习不得要领,不愿参加各种英语活动,是英语学习上的“困难户”。减少学困生的数量,缩小两极分化是每位英语教师迫切需要解决的问题。在初中英语课堂教学活动的开展过程中,应该多关注学习有困难的学生,让每一个学生都不被落下。
一、 英语学困生形成的主要原因
通过对初中学生(尤其是学困生)的调查及个别访谈,经过分析整合,得出初中英语学困生的成因主要有以下几个方面:
1.学生启蒙晚,基础差
由于地区生源的特殊性,学生开始英语学习的时间有一定的差异,造成了学生英语水平的个体差异,这是形成英语学困生的客观因素之一。
调查发现,5%的学生初中才开始真正的英语学习,2%的学生五年级开始学习英语,3%的学生四年级开始学习英语,10%的学生三年级开始学习英语,80%的学生一年级开始学习英语。刚进入初一的学生,由于学习英语的起始年段不同,英语水平已不在同一起跑线上。 初一英语教师仅仅根据小学阶段的分数或等级成绩很难判断学生的实际水平,对某个具体学生的学习习惯、学习成绩也难以做到全面了解,因此很难把握教学难易度。
2.学习策略和学习习惯不科学
环境、家庭和个人等因素也造成了学生英语水平的差异。在初一阶段,多数学生具备了基本的学习习惯,如集中注意力、积极思考等,但在主动预习、复习与归纳等学习策略的使用和学习习惯的培养上仍然存在个人差异。目前一些学困生的家长没有采取有效的措施去关心教育孩子,他们对孩子虽然有期望,但往往关心不够,晚上能关注孩子学习的比较少,有的家长只顾自己看电视、打麻将等,有的家长长期在外面做生意,无暇关心自己的子女,只会给子女钱花,他们基本上没有时间过问子女的学习情况和培养子女良好的学习习惯。在这种宽松的环境下,这些学生因缺乏学习自觉性就容易成为学习掉队者。调查显示,86%的学生在学习中能集中注意力,30%的学生总是能够根据需要进行预习。尚有33%的学生未养成良好的日常预习习惯,34%的学生不能经常对所学知识进行整理和归纳,只有54%的学生能够经常发现和运用语言规律,并做到举一反三。有接近8%的学生从来不使用策略,高达37%的学生从来不阅读英语读物。虽然超过半数的学生学习目标明确,但学习态度积极且真正付诸行动的学生比例却不高。
3.学校和教师因素
从事初一英语教学的教师多为年轻教师,多数教师对小学阶段所学的语法项目了解不多,描述不全面,尽管绝大多数学校进行过摸底口语或书面测试,但鲜有对学生的学习习惯和策略方面的摸底调查。加之一些学校班额过大,教师很难照顾到每一个学生。在我们现行的教学中也还存在一定的弊端,比如视学生为知识的“容器”,不管学生的个体差异而采用“一刀切”的教学模式,这也导致某些学生的个性备受压抑,久而久之,他们就会丧失学习的兴趣,甚至产生厌学情绪。面对学困生,部分教师会感到沉重的压力和无奈,而导致听之任之,让其自生自灭。
二、优化课堂教学,提高学习有效性
心理学家研究发现,拉大智力差距的主要原因并不是智力本身,而是学习的毅力、自信心、欲望、动机等内在的非智力因素。因此在充分调查和分析的基础上,根据学困生和现行教育教学的实际情况,我们可以采取有针对性的措施,有效激发学困生学习英语的兴趣,增强其学习英语的信心,丰富其学习英语的方法,从而提高其学习的有效性。
1.用宽容的心去包容和关爱每一个学困生
如果说教师的人格力量是一种无穷的榜样力量,那么教师的爱心就是成功教育的原动力。我国伟大的教育家陶行知先生说过:“捧着一颗心来,不带半根草去。”这正是教师无私奉献爱心的典范,这种爱不仅要放在优秀的学生身上,还要把它更多地融进学困生的心里。因为作为学困生,他们原本就缺少教师的关心,更多的则是教师恨铁不成钢的埋怨。因此,教师必须改变传统的师生关系,把教师和学困生的关系建立在尊重、平等、理解的基础上,用教师的爱来激发学困生对英语学习的兴趣。为师者应该接纳和包容每一个学生,理解“尺有所长,寸有所短”,每一个个体都有其闪光点,这样就不会因学生沉默寡言而烦心,也不会因学生经常出错而苦恼,就不会只钟情于成绩优异者而忽略心灵手巧者,就不会囿于教书而疏于育人。教师需要以责人之心责己,以恕己之心恕人。我常想,不歧视学困生,是师德的底线,而只有热爱学困生,才是师德的境界。因为关注弱势群体,是一个社会真正文明进步的最显著的特征。学困生由于羞怯、基础差,上课往往心不在焉,更别提举手回答问题了。在课堂教学活动的开展过程中,教师应该多关注学习有困难的学生,给他们创造更多的学习机会,对于他们的回答给予充分的肯定和鼓励, 同时也应鼓励学习有困难的学生敢于提出自己的问题, 帮助他们积极参与到课堂当中来。课堂上教师的目光也应该多停留在学习有困难的学生身上, 让他们在与老师的沟通和交流过程中, 体会到老师对他们的关注和支持。有了老师积极的关注,学困生才会对英语学习充满兴趣。老师要善于发现学困生身上的优点,并且能够及时给予他们赞扬,这样会使他们受到很大的鼓舞, 让他们的学习更有动力, 帮助他们树立自信心。
润物细无声,慢慢地,学困生会克服心理障碍,养成开口的习惯,他们的参与意识也大大加强,并一改以往“事不关己”的态度,课上也会常常出现他们表现的身影。苏霍姆林斯基曾感叹:“从我手里经过的学生成千上万,奇怪的是,留给我印象最深的并不是无可挑剔的模范生,而是别具特点、与众不同的孩子。”教育的这种反差效应告诉我们:对学困生这样一个“与众不同”的特殊群体,教师必须正确认识他们,研究他们,将融融的师爱洒向他们。教师学会充分肯定这些学生的成绩,正确评价这些学生,使这些学生在和谐、民主、公正的氛围中成长,受到人格的尊重,以良好的心态面对学习。
2.加强中小学英语学习目标、内容和评价的有效衔接
小学阶段的英语课程目标是从兴趣出发,培养学生的听说能力,对读写的要求很低。而初中阶段的课程目标则关注对学生读写能力的培养,同时注重包括听说读写在内的综合语言运用能力的提高。我们应依据学生已有的英语水平,找出学生英语学习的最近发展区,针对初中学生提出适度的衔接目标,重点是对可考量的语言知识和语言技能进行对比和分析,以期从目标层面发现问题,关注目标间的衔接。每一级目标都不是孤立的,而是层层递进、呈螺旋式上升的,教学中要关注它们之间的联系,并根据教材、课程标准和学生实际分层制订教学目标。
教师在教学内容的设计上如果对学生的现实性学习缺乏充分的考虑,容易导致优秀生“吃不饱”、学困生“吃不了”的现象。因此,我们应试图将小学以及初一的教学内容在语音、词汇、语法、功能、话题等方面进行对比性分析,寻找影响衔接的与语言学习内容相关的诸多要素,从两个学段各自的教学内容寻找衔接的切入点。
在初一阶段,教师应对学生进行各种摸底考查,了解学生对小学英语掌握的程度,认真研究小学英语的内容,系统地组织复习。同时,初一第一学期的考试要求不宜太高,避免过难、过偏的内容,要保护学生的积极性和自信心。可增加形成性测试和口语测试,体现评价方式的多样化。通过多元化的评价方式促进学生不断矫正自身问题,优化学习策略。
3.优化教学模式,激发学困生的学习兴趣
有效的课堂,是给孩子想要的,给孩子需要的。 它需要教师了解学情,这样教学才有针对性。有效的课堂,教师需要把课堂还给学生,需要把提问权、表述权、思考权、练习权还给学生,有效的课堂需要有轻度的挑战感,包括知识的、能力的和思维的挑战。教师的教学设计要有梯度。每堂课应该使所有学生有收获感,知识、能力、 思维得到提升。要兼顾到每个学生使得优化教学模式,采用分层教学显得尤为必要。教师在教学中要承认差异,采取分层教学策略,因材施教,给每个学生都提供机会,评价统一,使学困生在每堂学习上都有所收获,不断增强他们学好英语的信心,消除自卑心理。一个班级视人数而定,一般可以4~6人为一小组,每组选派一个组长(一般由学困生来当),一位“老师”,还设定“优先发言者”,一般都是学困生,因为在展示阶段要把更多机会让给学困生。这是最基础的小组合作,同时在班级设立大组,有“大组长”和“大老师”,也就是小组里解决不了的问题可以拿到大组里讨论,请教“大老师”,如此解决不了的,总结起来整个班级一起讨论。在小组合作学习当中要充分遵循“强教弱”“优势互补”的原则。小组活动项目还可以分为课堂教学活动和课外学习活动两种,前者是学习的主渠道、重头戏。课堂上,教师设计、提出任务,学生通过小组合作共同完成任务,互帮互助,更体现了合作、探究、体验的教学理念。课外学习活动是小组合作学习的另一个重要组成部分,是提高英语学习的一个重要途径。很多项目可以由课外合作途径得以完成,如预习、作业检查、词句背诵、作业或试卷评改以及对学困生的辅导等。小组合作学习中要引进竞争机制,每天依据课堂表现和作业考试情况评出三个优胜小组,这样每组的学困生都会为本组努力奋斗。
转化英语学困生是一项漫长的工作,教师需长期不懈地坚持,在思想上、行为上、课外课内多下苦功夫。在教学中要给予学困生更多的关爱;优化课堂教学,让学困生体验成功;加强学法指导,减轻后进生的精神压力及强化学习内驱力;发挥集体力量,提高学困生的学习自觉性。只要我们重视英语学困生问题,尽早地重燃学困生希望的火苗,那么精诚所至,一定会金石为开。

一、培养学生学英语的兴趣
1.激发直接兴趣:兴趣是最好的老师。只有学生感兴趣的东西,他们才会积极开动脑筋,认真思考,并以最便捷有效的方法吸收知识。初一学生的学习动机在很大程度上随兴趣的波动而转移。初接触英语,他们感到特别新鲜,总想说说、念念。教师要抓住学生这个心理特点,采取简单会话的方式,来激发他们学习的兴趣。如开学的前几周,放慢教字母的进度,加进像Good morning!等日常用句,并把这些编成对话,让学生在课堂上练习。尽管这只有两、三句,但学生觉得英语说起来琅琅上口,很有兴致。我们就采取了以上的方法,课堂上让学生反复练习,课外,教师见到学生主动用Hello,how are you?等向学生打招呼,学生之间见面也乐意用所学的话问好,这样学生首先对英语有了直接兴趣。
2.采取直观教学:大部分初一学生年龄在13-14岁之间,他们的思维正在由形象化转化为抽象化,但他们这时的抽象思维在很大程度上需要形象思维的帮助。所以,教师在教学中,必须想方设法,借助实物、图片、幻灯等手段进行直观教学,同时要注意尽量创造主动的教学情景、活泼的课堂气氛,以收到较好的教学效果。
3.扩大其兴趣的广泛性:和其它教学阶段相比,初一学生负担较轻,而且英语教学内容比较单一,多是些机械模仿性操练。学生的积极性调动起来了,教师要抓紧时机,因势利导,在完成教材任务的基础上,进一步帮助学生掌握更多的单词和词组,扩大学生兴趣的广度,为他们以后的学习打下了良好的基础。
二、教会学生学英语的方法
年轻教师往往知识储备不足,教学经验少。除了要向有经验的老教师多学习外,还要不断自学,不断总结教学经验。课外要舍得花时间在教学研究上。初一英语教学面对的是一群天真好动的孩子,教学方法要因人、因时、因事、因地地灵活运用,每天每节课都面临着挑战。
英语作为一门语言,不开口是不行的。然而我教的几个班的学生大多数是从农村来的,胆子小、害羞、不敢开口。为了打开这群“小哑巴”的嘴,我用了一些小点子来激发学生开口。例如:在课堂上先用一两分钟的时间给学生作值日报告,报告的内容不拘一格,可谈天气、讲故事,也可谈老师、朋友、家人、爱好、愿望等,基础差的学生甚至可背一段学过的文章或对话,要求只有一个,就是能让别人听清你说的内容,其他学生对今天的“报告”加以点评。这样既激励了学生提高口语水平,同时也避免了其他学生没事做,而且能帮学生练习听力。课堂一开始就有激励学生作报告的掌声,接着是雷鸣般的掌声,整个课堂气氛融洽、活跃。为了帮助学生树立信心,我还采用了学生“领读”的方法,这个“领读”不完全是真正意义上的领读。我先请一部分开口能力较强的学生领读所教的内容,然后请一些声音小、基础差的学生来“领读”。无论是谁领读,教师和学生都不能纠正他的错误,帮助学生树立自信心,提高学生学习英语的积极性。
只有认真准备、灵活运用、认真组织,英语教学才能倍受学生喜爱。英语教学方法是无止境的,作为年轻教师应一如既往地总结、学习、专研、挑战教学方法。
三、提高学生的听、说、读、写能力
“听”是接受性的活动,但同样可以培养创造性。例如:给学生们听一首不完整的歌词,然后放歌曲,让他们填写完整,在此基础上再引领学生们唱这首歌曲。这样,既可以让学生练习听力,又可以让他们得到音乐的享受,何乐而不为呢?“说”是培养语言表达能力的极好的活动形式,如果有可能的话,要多组织形式多样的课外活动,以激发学生们说的欲望。“读”不仅可以增强学生们的观察力、分析能力和想像力,而且可以增强他们的预感,帮助他们开阔视野,因此要有意识地找一些不同类型的文章让学生阅读。“写”是创造思维能力的综合表现。对于初二以上学生,教师完全可以布置一些命题小作文。每次作文以后,要尽可能及时改出,然后选出优秀
的或富有新意的到班里朗读,让学生们互相借鉴,这对语言的学习是十分有利的。
每个人在漫长的人生旅途中会有许许多多的第一次,但能真正刻在心里成为永恒的又能有几次呢?第一堂课的紧张与激动、第一次过教师节的感动与幸福、第一次考试时的担心与焦急……我的这些“第一次”都仅仅属于在贵州望谟支教的岁月,也可能成为生命当中的“唯一一次”。这些第一次中的一幕幕不时在我的脑海里闪现,让我难以忘怀。
我第一次以教师身份站在讲台上时,对自己产生了怀疑,但当我看到讲台下六十双明亮、天真无邪的眼睛闪烁着对老师的崇敬信任和希望时,紧张感随之消失,从容自信地开始了我的开场白:
“我来自江西,是江西师范大学第四届研究生支教团的成员。从现在开始,我就是你们的英语老师。希望我们能一起学习,共同进步,虽然我说话口音与你们不同,而且初来乍到,你们也许有些听不懂我所说的话,但我相信我们之间的心意是相通的,因为我们有着一个共同的目的,那就是我们支教是为了使祖国的西部明天更美好,你们读书也是为了让自己的家乡更繁荣……”
“在今后的一年里,我们将朝夕相处,在课堂上我是你们的老师,我将尽我的最大努力以及对支教工作的无限热爱,为大家传授知识;在课后,我希望能成为你们值得信赖的知心朋友。我不敢说在短短的三百天里,我能使大家学到许许多多的知识,但我能肯定的是,我一定能从你们身上能从引导你们学习的过程中学到许多。在这里,请允许我感谢大家!让我们共同翻开新的一页吧!”
孩子们显然对于我这样一位身份特殊的老师还是很好奇。趁势,我在黑板上写下我的大名,并借用《18岁的天空》中那位“麻辣”老师的话接着说:“我的名字叫李洁,希望你们在以后回忆起你们初一英语老师的时候,不要把我的名字记错了。”
接着,我用英了个开场白,尽管讲台下的孩子听不懂,但他们还是认真地听着。我又给他们讲述了学习英语的意义,孩子们似懂非懂地报以热烈的掌声,用那并不标准的普通话表达着他们对英语学习的渴望。
第一堂课我教授他们的是日后上英语课对老师的称呼以及一句临时想到的广告词“I Believe I Can Do”。希望他们通过这句话建立起对英语学习的信心,为此我还编了手势和旋律让他们边做边唱边念。孩子们都聚精会神,热情高涨,一遍一遍地努力地学,就在这歌声和笑声中迎来了第一堂课的下课铃声。当看到孩子们下了课后还在不停地重复着我上课教的手势、听到他们大喊刚学会的“Miss Li”时,我被初为人师的成就感和幸福感浓浓地包围着……
虽然在以后几个月的教书匠生涯里体会到了“上好一堂课容易,上好每节课不容易”的艰辛,但第一堂课留给我的却是最深刻的印象。因为当我第一次站上讲台,面对无数双求知的眼睛时,我才突然认清了自己,发现自己拥有和缺少的是什么。
期中考试是除了单元测验之外的第一次全校性考试,它不仅是对学生们学习的检验,更是对我这个老师这一段教学的考验和检查。教学成果的很大一部分是由分数来决定的,尽管有些不情愿,可那毕竟是硬通货,外部的人就认定这标准。所以尽管平时课文读了又读,知识点讲了又讲,可到了这个时候,心里总是觉得不踏实,尤其是考试前两三节课,生怕自己什么地方没讲清楚或他们没听明白。于是我边给孩子们打气,边不厌其烦地把他们有可能会犯的错误、容易错的句型、经常混淆的单词、可能会考到的题型总结归纳一遍遍地讲,都快成口头禅了。一见到学生们就说句子开头要大写、句子结束别忘记加标点、年级班级的首字母要大写、该变复数的地方一定要变复数、以元音音素开头的单词前要用an……就更不用说其他知识点了,什么可数名词和第三人称单数啦,什么疑问形式及答语形式啦,什么人称代词变成物主代词啦,什么连词成句和对划线部分提问啦,什么Introduce yourself in English啦,一个点一个点地讲。
在归纳总结完之后,我又强调了一些解题技巧,比如:不要求他们掌握的单词的写法,但是考试的时候会让他们填单词,那么就可以在卷子中其他的地方找,肯定会有,找到以后照抄过来就可以了。那几节课我恨不得把肚子的墨水全部倒给他们,直到自认为他们只要这几节课复习课认真听了就至少能考80分为止,至少经过这么一轮接一轮地连续“轰炸”,“熟能生巧,巧能生精”,他们怎么也该记住了一些,就算记不住也能看着眼熟吧。唉,真是比自己上考场都累!看了考卷之后,心中窃喜——试卷不太难,比平时的单元测验要简单,我们班的学生应该考得不错。
收了试卷回到宿舍,顾不上午休和晚饭,带着些许期待和担忧的心情,一口气改完了所有的试卷后就已到深夜了,我还是坚持把两个班的成绩登记到备课本上。虽然上眼皮和下眼皮无数次地深情相拥,但无奈意识仍然清醒得要命,满脑子都是考卷、学生、成绩。想不通为什么这么简单的题目在三班居然有近一半人不及格;想不通为什么反复讲的知识点放到试卷上、放到题目中学生们还是照错不误。
等第二天得知其他班的成绩后,才知道我的学生们这次考得还不错。可是我带的两个班,一个班的及格人数是另一个班的一倍,最高分96,最低只有29。自己带的两个班成绩悬殊如此之大,我这个做老师的也难辞其咎。在前半学期里,我理应给这一百二十名学生以公平的爱,尤其是那些所谓的“差生”,可是,由于经验的欠缺和工作的繁忙,我没有做到。
在这第一次考试后,我要求用他们的眼光来看我的教学的不足和以“假如我是英语老师”为内容,给我提意见。两天后,我的办公桌上堆满了随感和日记,一种很真切的感动情不自禁从心底升起,一页页写满同学们心声的文字犹如一幅幅鲜活的灵魂展现在我面前,我油然而生敬畏之情。接下来的日子里,我醉心于为学生备好每一节课,沉浸于了解每一个孩子,尽量公平地对待所有的学生……
的确,“爱学生”三个字,读过去不用一秒钟,做起来却很难。学生好的时候,听话的时候要爱他;学生不听话的时候,气得要命的时候也要爱他。人人都爱的乖孩子你要爱他,大家都不喜欢的孩子你更要爱他。须知道,当学生看起来最不可爱的时候,恰恰是学生最需要爱的时候,这需要怎样的一种宽容和博爱?这是我的第一次考试带给我的思考。
每位中学英语教师上课都有自己不同的风格,而几乎每位教师的公开课和常规课都有一定区别。大家都注重上好一节公开课,都会采用不同的教学手段,且能收到良好的效果。初一年级是英语学习的基础阶段,也是关键时期。教师在进行课堂教学之前需要备课,在为保证教学质量的情况下,教师可以对个别学生做有针对性的课后辅导。那么,怎样才能上好英语课呢。
1.备课
作为一名教师,在进入课堂教学之前,就要做好充分的、丰富的备课准备工作。这一堂课上的成功与否,关键取决于备课的准备是否充足。学生来学习的目的是为了获得知识和学习的方法。那么,教师要充分站在学生的立场上思考教学和备课。有一句话这样说:"备课就是备人"。不可否认,如果一个老师没有站在学生的角度上去了解他们,没有正确按照学生的水平和阶段来有针对性的去备课的话,那么他在课堂教学上是没有目的的,在教学的过程是不成功的,教学的成果也是不见成效的和失败的。
教师应按规定制定短期的教学工作计划。在认真学习教育教学理论和专业理论的基础上,教师备课要做到"八备",即:备课程标准,备教材,备学生,备教案,备教法、学法,备教学器材,备情感、态度、价值观和备习题。教师应该认真学习所教学科的课程标准,理解课程标准的指导思想,用创新的思维和理念指导教学实践。同时,教师应明确重点章节和重点课文,做到全盘统筹,安排和实现好授课计划。
就英语来说,涉及到了词汇、句型、短语和语法等知识点的整理、归纳和总结。在此当中,所有的知识点大部分都归纳在语法的范围之内。老师需要在备课的过程中以认真的、集中的状态来备好这一节课。如果光是依照课本笼统的提到的句型或词汇,表面的来讲课是远远不够的。这样的课堂会显得很单调,学生会学不到系统性的知识,从而对课堂产生厌倦感,甚至讨厌学习英语。那么,老师应该怎么做呢?
这时,老师就需要查阅相关的英语资料,像课内辅导书、语法书和课外的英语书籍等。但前提就是,查阅的书籍要符合老师目前的教学阶段和水平,绝对不能以马代驴,滥竽充数。查阅相关资料的目的是为了丰富备课内容,为了让学生吸收更好的更全面的知识,为了更好的巩固教学效果,为教学负责。
2.课堂教学
备课工作准备好之后,接着是课堂教学,教师要依照备课的方案及内容来上课。教学是教师教与学生学的双方互动性过程。抽象的说,也是一种知识的输出与输入的过程。学生是课堂活动的主角,是思维的主体,他们的活动应占课堂的绝大多数时间。课堂教学的必要五个环节是:①自学,②议论,③点拨,④练习和⑤小结。
在课堂教学的过程中,学生会遇到一些各种各样的学习问题,对于学习初一英语的学生来说,他们遇到的问题相对比较简单。一般在词汇、句型和语法上。他们需要掌握的词汇量少、句型和语法也都简单,他们需要做的是打好基础,对英语有初步的入门认识。同词汇一样,语法是学习英语不可缺少的一部分。很多的学生会问:老师,这个句型为什么会这么放?为什么以元音开头的单词要用不定冠词an来修饰?什么叫特殊疑问句?等等的问题。有一些问题是可以解释的,而有些则解释不了,这些就涉及到英语中固定的搭配和语言的规范及语法。英语的语法教学是培养学生获得英语语言内部结构的一般规则的教学活动,是帮助学生准确地表达思想,更好的进行听、说、读、写等语言实践活动的基础。由此可见语法非常的重要。
教学练习可以是以课堂师生互动对话、提问与回答、课堂作业和n后作业等的形式来实现。为了便于学生活动,教师在备课时应在为自己设计教案的同时,按照课堂教学五个步骤的教育教学内容为学生设计同步练习的题单和学案,列出教学重点、难点、知识点、能力点、教育点,以及与教学同步的诸如模仿、替换、填空、选择、转换、补全对话、思考、讨论、辩论等口头或笔头的练习题或检测题,来供学生在不同阶段活动时使用,同时也是考查学生平时表现的依据。教学的目标要科学、具体、准确,切忌一般化和抽象化。
3.课后工作
课后工作主要就包括作业的批改及对遗漏的课堂知识的查阅补充,最后是在学生课程结束之时的相关考试工作。在临近考试之时,教师要按照自己的教学内容设计试卷的题型和题目数量,把它们输入电脑,做详细的排版并打印出来。排版是一项认真性的工作,排版不仅要校对试题是否有打字错误的地方,还要力求试题版面美观整齐。这要求教师要具备较好的文字处理能力。
那在批改作业的时候更要认真,绝对不能以一个"阅"字就带过,一定要根据学生作业完成的正确率来评分,根据教师个人的喜好可以用诸如:excellent、good、so-so等来点评。必要时,评上几句肯定和鼓励学生的话语。作业是学生自学、自我检查的重要依据。老师在批改的过程中,发现错误要及时的纠正并做好登记。必要的时候可以把它们拿出来在课堂上进行讲解,引导学生参与讨论,启发他们积极的思考,以便检验教学的效果并及时巩固,避免学生第二次犯同样的错误,以进一步促进教学的效益,即做到了有效教学。
4.课后辅导
